This is week 3 of our pandemic judo workouts.

Mike and sons are the most consistent so far.
I don’t want to call out any slackers by name so… Others need to step it up!

OK, since people watched the workout last week (and Mike, Jason, and Zack did it) I will continue to post new ones.
So, here it is for tonight.

Hello Sensei,

I am the chair of the USJF COVID-19 Ad Hoc committee and our committee’s goals are to promote and increase access to quality judo, expand the judo community, and raise funds to support dojos.  We are the coordinators of the 
COVID-19 Support Grant and want to continue to be a resource for our community.  In an effort to fulfill this mission, in the coming weeks, we will be encouraging people to donate for the Open Mat events on our 
community website.  However, our first priority is to provide access to quality judo and

USJF Social Media & COVID-19 Ad Hoc Committee

I just wanted to update everyone on the latest guidance from the USJF regarding practice.
It looks like the USJF describes 5 phases w/r/t getting back on the mat.
The first time it looks like we can practice is phase 4 according to the USJF.
This looks like it happens when there is no longer any restriction on public gatherings.
So I think this all means it will still be a while before we are back on the mat.
I hope everyone is doing well these days.
Keep working out so you are ready to practice when we can.

I hope everyone is staying healthy (and missing judo).
Not surprisingly, some upcoming tournaments have been cancelled.
The list is:
March 20-21, Obukan’s 64th Annual Tournament, postponed
April 18, Budokan Tournament, postponed
April 25, Battle by the Lake, cancelled
May 2, Seattle Dojo, cancelled
