  • Inland Empire Judo Classic 2013 entry Form

    Here is the entry form for the tournament on 3/16 which is here in Spokane. I would like everyone to compete. Competition offers the best means of assessing how you are doing as your opponents are not used to your technique.
    We will talk more about this tonight.

  • Self Defense Demonstration

    I just wanted to thank all of the members of our club who came out last night for the self defense demonstration. I hope everyone had fun.

    I would like to particularly thank Sensei Rich for teaching the class. As usual he did an excellent job.

  • No practice Monday February 18th! (Community Center Closed)

    Due to Presidents day, there will be NO Spokane Judo practice tonight, Monday February 18th.

     

    We’ll see you back on Wednesday at the East Central Community Center at 6:00.

  • Self Defense Class (2/21/2013)

    We will be holding a self defense class for the Washington State University Nutrition and Exercise Physiology
    Club on Thursday Feb. 21 from 6:00-7:30 at the Sheriff’s Training Center.
    I hope all of the seniors can attend as we will need your assistance.

  • Practice Saturday (2/9/2013)

    We will have practice Saturday from 12:30-2:00. Hopefully everyone can make it.

    The tournament in March is coming up!

    It is my turn for the illness at my house so I am cancelling practice for Saturday.

  • Congratulations to John Yen

    He took 2nd in the 81kg division at the Continental Crown yesterday. This officially makes him a nationally ranked player. Nice job.

  • Reminder about Practice

    Just wanted to make sure that everyone knows that practice is cancelled this evening (1/9/2013).
    We will have practice on Saturday (1/12/2013) at 10:30 in the morning.
    Also, practice on Monday (1/14/2013) we will be back at the East Central Community Center at 6:00.

    Just wanted to remind everyone that practice will be at the Sheriff’s Training Center on Saturday at 12:30 and on Monday at 6:00.
