Many thanks to Allen for videoing the competitors last night at practice.
It is invaluable to watch yourself and see where you need to improve.
Everyone should watch these videos and come with questions on Monday.

Happy New Year
Now that the holidays are over (and all the eating is done) we are ready to get back to practice. Just a reminder to all that practice will be on Wednesday this week and hopefully all of you will be there.
My goal for this year is that more of us participate in competitions and part of that is getting prepared. Tournaments are not won at the tournament, they are won in practice with hard work!
See everyone Wednesday.
Gym Closures and Christmas Vacation
The gym will be closed from Dec. 4 through Dec. 12. There will be no practice during that week and for Monday Dec. 12. We will have practice on Dec. 14.
We also will be off the week between Christmas and the new year (Dec. 26, Dec. 28, and Jan. 2). We will resume practice on Jan. 4 (Wednesday).
No Practice
There will be no practice on Nov 23 as the East Central Community Center will be closing at noon that day.
We will work out extra hard before then to make up for missing practice.
Practice Cancelled
Just a reminder that there is no practice tonight.
See everyone Wednesday.
Halloween
There will be no practice on Halloween.
Have a good time.
Lost Judo Gi
Allen has lost his Mizuno gi. In early August, someone picked up Allen’s gi by mistake and left their size 6 HSU gi. He would like it back. So if you have it, send me a message through the contact form and I will let him know.
His gi is a white Mizuno size 5.5.
Change in dues
Starting in October 2011, we are going to be raising our fees. The new fees will be $30/mo for individuals and $40/mo for families.
Reminder
There will be no practice on Monday 5/30/2011 as this is Memorial day. See everyone on Wednesday.
