64th Annual Obukan Judo Shiai & Kata/ Onchi Sensei Memorial Tournament (Postponed)
Due to the ongoing virus situation, this tournament has been postponed. If/when this changes, I will post updated info.
Congratulations to Alaina
Alaina recently competed in a tournament in Germany (taking bronze!).

The 2020 Washington State Judo Championships will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at Kentwood High School, 25800 164th Ave. SE, Covington, WA 98042,
presented by Seatte Dojo. Registration instructions and satellite weigh-in details are here.
Registration for shiai and kata competitors is online
exclusively and the deadline is 11:55pm on Wednesday, February 19, 2020.

Alaina Competing in Germany
On Feb. 8, Alaina will be at the German Open competing. After the tournament there is a 2 day training camp.
I am sure she will do an excellent job representing Spokane Judo.

Judo is a hard thing to learn. The key take-away from this article for me is those who fail at learning a new skill are, overwhelmingly, those who don’t try to learn a new skill. Another way of putting this is if you don’t even try to learn, you definitely never will.
