When: Saturday, 12/12/2015 3:00-6:00

Where: Brett & Anna Marie’s house (2515 E 39th AVE)

What: Judo related discussion, videos, and food. Come and talk about the time you almost threw Sensei Oleg. Or the time you almost arm barred Aleksi!

We would like to see everyone, if you haven’t been to practice in a while, this is the perfect opportunity to come back. If you are just a visitor from Pacific, come and join in. We want everyone and their friends. If you are one of the new people, definitely come.
If you want to bring something to share, feel free but it isn’t required.

Just a reminder that we have practice tonight. There is a rumor that Cheyenne might put in an appearance!

I checked on the center being open for Wednesday and was told they would be so we should also have practice Wednesday.

Due to the wind storm, the center is closed today. As a result we have to cancel practice.
If you think there is someone who isn’t getting emails from our site, please let them know that practice is cancelled.

All of Aleksi’s starving himself payed off! He took 3rd place in the 66 KG division last Saturday at the Continental Crown.
Its sounds like it was close in the championship match with Aleksi going the entire time.

The testing for promotion is a good way to make sure that everyone has a thinking understanding of the different techniques. Now the practicing needs to be done to transform that “thinking” into “knowing” so you can execute the techniques without needing to slow down and think about what you are doing.

Aleksi has come another year closer to death. Come to practice and celebrate this milestone with the traditional throw.

The fall has started, school is back in session and judo practice needs you!

If you have been thinking about coming back to judo, or just thinking about starting judo for the first time, now is that time.
Come and see us and get in shape.

On 8/21 the East Central Community Center put on a National Night out against Crime. This event highlighted all of the services offerred by the center. As part of the event, the Judo club demonstrated a bit of judo.

Thank you to everyone who gave up their Friday evening and helped us out.
